  • The construction of a "Friendship Fence" (photo) to demonstrate cooperation and community within our neighborhood.
  • The participation in the 2007 Pageant of Peace Festival in Washington D.C. The NHC provided 50 handmade ornaments that were represented on the State of Utah tree in the "Pathway of Peace" suring the three week festival.
  • A donation of a Christmas tree and handmade ornaments to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
  • A "Pennies for Peace" drive where the children raised over $400 that was donated to the Central Asia Institute which builds schools in war torn Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Neighborhood Homework Club (NHC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of resources that support and promote the academic and civic development of children in grades K through 6. NHC does this by developing structured programs that help parents support their teachers to work within the curriculum at their schools. Learn more
